| Testimonial | Sarah* (name change for confidentiality) 35years old – Anxiety attacks since I was 18yrs old I was told that I would have to deal with it for the rest of my life, I could learn to control it but it will never go away. So for years now I have just lived around my problems, throwing up in the morning, or before going out of an evening. Then I have several years where everything went wrong, brother dying, getting divorced and losing my job all at the same time. This seemed to be the last straw on the camel’s back and my body could not take it anymore. I went to a therapist as I thought that talking about my problems would help, but it didn’t change how I was feeling. It got so bad that I couldn’t go out without having panic attacks; going food shopping was an absolute nightmare. My legs would go to jelly and I had a fear that I would fall, so walking anywhere became a very scary thought for me. I would avoid going anywhere, doing anything; even walking to the shops in my lunch hour breaks sent dread through my whole body. Walking from my car to the office everyday was terrifying for me too. I was desperate to find some help and decided that maybe hypnosis might help; I’d try anything at this point to see if it could help me. My life was totally run by my anxiety and I felt completely out of control of my own life. When I called a practice they told me that I would be better using EFT for these issues that I have been dealing with. So I booked an appointment and the first session showed signs of improvement. It really opened my eyes to alternative methods. However at £60 a session I could not afford to go all the time and eventually had to stop. Then I found Blue Skyz……..Sue and Donna have become my saving angels and I can’t believe how lucky I have been to find them. For a non profitable service, they put their heart and soul into what they do for you. There should be more people like them out there to help people resolve their issues rather than pumping them with pills that don’t always help or just suppress your problems. They have worked with me over the last 6 months, in a friendly and relaxing environment. They feel like friends rather than therapists and I can speak to them openly and honestly. They have used EFT, Reiki and Kinesiology and I now feel that I have gained back control of my life. My family have commented on how they have seen such an improvement in my behaviour and character, I can walk with my sister along the beach with the dogs now and shopping is no longer a daunting trip out. I no longer panic every time I’m about to leave my own front door and my legs no longer feel like jelly if I know I have to walk anywhere. I owe everything to Sue and Donna as I finally have my life back, I feel that it can only get better and brighter from here……..you really can overcome panic attacks with a little help from the right people and Blue Skyz is the place to find it!
