Blue Skyz is a registered non profit organisation dedicated to assisting various aspects of local community and individual needs in both a remedial and educative way. Our therapy centre has been designed to be facilitative to individual client sessions, family, children and teenage therapies and advice, workshops and group treatments. Our approach is to provide an integrated tailor made and supportive healing journey, which gives the benefit of trained therapists at each step and well being education, empowering both the individual and parents/carers etc to be equipped with ways to help themselves and those they are seeking to support.

We treat across a wide range of conditions and needs, focusing on alleviating physical problems with various practical and natural methods. Amongst our therapies, certain ones are extremely effective at sourcing the root causes of ailments and conditions, therefore enabling us often to locate and facilitate healing at deeper emotional or psychological levels with care and at the speed the client determines. Stress is a major source of all conditions, but is a broad ranging term. Being able to determine and focus on the major factor's and assist to remedy them has therefore been hugely beneficial to the many clients who have sought our treatments for persistent long term conditions and those which have no obvious cause.

The service is run personally by Sue Oosterwoud and Donna Austerberry and the non profit community interest status was formed in response to the growing number of children and young people we have treated over the last years who have each made remarkable progress. Combining colour therapy, EFT, kinesiology, aura healing and reiki has radically altered the futures of many children and teenagers (and their parents/carers etc!) making depression, past bullying, abuse, self harm, anger, anxiety and other issues a long distant memory. The bright and gifted children – aspergic, autistic, specially talented – warm to the therapies and the approach we guarantee to offer. Young people today are challenged in many ways, and we seek to respect their many individual hurdles and empower them to break free of limiting behaviours and believe in their own abilities, whilst also being supportive and attentive to other family members.

Sue Oosterwoud has worked as a private therapist and has both volunteered and been part funded to work for a charity since 2005. The client base and needs have been both broad ranging and specialised, with focus on support and care for the families of people with addictions and with people in recovery from addictions. Over 50 percent of that work has reached clients who would not be able to access treatments or realise their benefits because of lack of availability and costs, and the charity now receives referrals from various services. Blue Skyz has been formed to increase that service and availability and is dedicated to providing a caring and professional support for all, regardless of needs, or financial means, wherever possible.

Donna Austerberry is an intuitive naturally talented healer, without whom Blue Skyz would have neither evolved or been made possible. Her ability to listen, to sense and determine deeper aspects and her natural calm and honest approach is appreciated, respected and sought after and her focus upon young people and family care is a passion. Reiki and holistic dowsing are a medium through which these natural skills appear and all ages and needs benefit from what she can bring both as remedy and as practical advice and assistance. Clients are often treated by both Sue and Donna during their sessions, and we have recently also gained the skills and time of Sue White, a therapist specialised in Bach Flower Remedies and Aromatherapy, with particular knowledge and experience with young people and complex issues.
